One of the most challenging areas of editing is reality TV. The task of creating high-drama from everyday life challenges you to use every tool in your editor's toolbox. The cutting is very fast, music and sound effects are used to amplify the drama, and context is changed to produce a clear and effective story. I've worked with some of Vancouver's largest producers of reality TV (Paperny Entertainment, Omni Films, Lark Productions) cutting episodes of some of the most successful series produced in town (Eat-Street, Yukon Gold, Timber Kings).
